La Miniera al Chiar di Luna

One of the most eagerly awaited summer events returns to the heart of Tuscany: La Miniera al Chiar di Luna, a series of enchanting evenings combining history, local flavors, and a unique atmosphere. A special opportunity to discover the Montecatini Val di Cecina Mine in a different light… moonlight.

From July 4th to August 29th, 2025, every Friday evening you can enjoy an unforgettable experience, exploring ancient tunnels, listening to fascinating stories, and savoring authentic Tuscan cuisine.

The evening begins at 19:30 with a night-time guided tour of the Mining Park: a journey through the history of what was once the largest copper mine in Europe, enriched by curiosities and anecdotes shared by expert guides.

After the tour , you will enjoy an outdoor dinner in the former mine offices, featuring a menu curated by the restaurant La Terrazza sul Borgo, offering traditional Tuscan dishes made with local ingredients.
